About Gaetano

A passion that was ignited during his childhood, Gaetano Sacco’s interest in music has only flourished with age. Both listening to legendary musicians and creating original pieces helps to bring balance and happiness into his everyday life. A combination of musical camaraderie during his college years and some inspiration from various professional artists has fueled Gaetano’s will to keep learning and performing throughout the emergence of his professional career in finance.
The Beginning
Gaetano Sacco became acquainted with the guitar as a musician at the age of 18. He started as a self-taught acoustic player for the first two years of playing. Upon beginning college, he formed a band by the name of Country Club Drive and soon began playing bass guitar with the band. As he moved forward, bass became his main focus.
Musical Influences
The musical careers of several legendary artists have influenced Gaetano. Some of his favorite performers include John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Others who had an impact on him include Pino Palladino and John Entwistle from the Who, as well as bands Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and The Eagles. Gaetano Sacco’s own musical career has unfolded through playing in several historic venues throughout NJ and NY. These venues include The Stone Pony at the Jersey Shore, the Red Lion in Greenwich Village, Rebel NYC, and the Bryce Jordan Center for Thon 2009.
Concert Attendance
As both a musician and fan, Gaetano Sacco makes it a point to attend concerts frequently. Most recently, he has seen artists including Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, the Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Future Islands at Terminal 5, Rob Thomas, John Mayer, Heart with Jason Bonham, Ed Sheeran, My Morning Jacket, and Bob Dylan. He looks forward to adding more incredible artists to this list!
Country Club Drive can be seen at various venues throughout the tri-state area. Gaetano Sacco looks forward to encouraging others with his ongoing musical endeavors.
